Story

The feeder buttons were easy for a cat to press by accident, which caused random food dispensing.

I designed a recessed guard in Fusion 360, laser-cut it from acrylic, and thermoformed it over a simple MDF mold so it matched the feeder's curved surface.

The final part keeps buttons easy for humans to press while preventing accidental presses from pets.
